Terms of Use
How you may use this site.
Last updated: September 24, 2026 · Applies to accessible-education.com and pages under it.
Using the site
Accessible Education is an independent editorial publication about higher education in the United States. You may use this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to use it in a way that harms it or that is unlawful, and you use it at your own risk. If you don’t agree with these terms, stop using the site.
What this is not
- Nothing on this site is advice — not legal, tax, or financial advice.
- No content here is an official source, and it isn’t issued by, or endorsed by, any government body or institution.
- Figures we publish are drawn from public statistical releases and reflect national averages; they don’t apply to your specific situation, and they may differ from any single institution’s numbers.
Content and attribution
The text, layout, and artwork on this site are owned by the publication. You may quote, link to, or share specific pieces with attribution. You may not republish a piece in full without permission, or imply that an institution, agency, or operator endorses this site when it does not.
Where we reference third-party sources, we link to them, and their terms govern how you may use the underlying material they provide.
Sample data
This site currently ships with sample content and figures. Pages carry a “sample data — verify before publication” notice where a number hasn’t yet been checked against its primary source. You shouldn’t rely on any figure on this site for a real-world decision until the notice is gone.
Liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the extent the law allows, the publication is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the site, or from reliance on its content. This does not affect your statutory rights, including those under the laws of the state where you live.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update the “last updated” date above, and post a notice at the top of this page for the full 30 days after the change. Continued use of the site after the change means you accept the new terms.
